Gym
The Yamba Surf Life Saving Club gym is available to active patrolling members and to approved associate members aged 25 years and over. The gym provides a convenient space for members to maintain their fitness, with patrolling members encouraged to regularly use the facilities to support the physical demands of patrol duties and lifesaving activities.
Gym Fees
Gym memberships are available to current financial members of Yamba SLSC. For Associate Members, an additional $300 annual fee applies on top of the standard $60 Associate Membership fee. Memberships run from 1 July to 30 June each year, or part thereof for the one set fee. No pro-rata or payment plans available.
New Associate Gym Memberships can be applied for by visiting the club office, with all applications subject to approval by the Board. We encourage our gym Associate Members to support club events and assist around the club when needed.
The gym at Yamba Surf Life Saving Club is available at no charge to active patrolling members who satisfy patrol requirements.
Access to the gym is via a key, available for a $20 non-refundable fee.
Gym Rules & Etiquette
To keep the Yamba Surf Club gym safe and enjoyable for everyone, all members are asked to follow these simple guidelines:

Sign in and out of the gym book each visit.

Keep the gym tidy: rack weights and wipe down equipment after use.

Close windows, turn off fans and lights, and lock the door when leaving.

No loud music before 7:00 am or after 7:00 pm.

Caretakers are on site — please be courteous and respectful at all times.
Following these rules helps ensure the gym remains a safe, clean, and welcoming space for all members.
How to join.
All members wishing to use the Yamba Surf Club gym must sign a declaration form at the start of each financial year. This ensures everyone is aware of the rules and responsibilities while using the facilities.

New members who would like to join Yamba Surf Life Saving Club and access the gym as an associate member can apply for membership through the office.
