Our Club

Yamba Surf Life Saving Club is a not-for-profit, charitable organisation dedicated to keeping Main Beach, Yamba, safe for everyone. Our mission is to provide a secure aquatic environment, educate our members in surf rescue and resuscitation techniques, and promote water safety across the wider community.

We also offer programs designed to help our members grow, develop skills, and enhance their knowledge, ensuring they are confident and capable both on and off the beach. At Yamba SLSC, safety, education, and community are at the heart of everything we do.

Our volunteer patrolling season runs from September through to April, with dedicated members patrolling Main Beach every weekend and public holiday to help keep our community and visitors safe.

something for everyone

Yamba Surf Life Saving Club is powered by a fantastic group of volunteers who contribute in many different ways across the club. From beach patrols and Nippers, to fundraising, sponsorship, BBQ coordination, officiating, and our UAV (drone) service, every role plays a vital part in what we do.

Whether you enjoy being on the beach, working behind the scenes, or supporting events and programs, there is an avenue for everyone in surf lifesaving. Getting involved is a great way to give back, learn new skills, and be part of a close-knit, community-focused club.
