Members not proficient by 31 December cannot patrol or compete until they meet the requirement. Here is how you renew your Bronze Medallion Award each year.

three simple steps...

what about my other awards?

Many members hold additional qualifications, such as First Aid, Advanced Resuscitation, IRB Crew Certificates and Drivers, Spinal Management, and more. Members with these awards are also required to maintain their skills for each qualification.

It is a huge undertaking by our volunteers to facilitate these sessions, ensuring our lifesavers have the skills, fitness, and abilities needed to patrol our beaches safely and effectively each year.

Proficiency dates for additional awards will be updated here and communicated to members via email. For any questions related to skills maitanence please email our Education Director Keiran Lynch - cto@yambaslsc.org.au
